“My friend and I have been going to the Keys for many years. About 6 years ago we were told about a place in Key Largo called Sunset Cove. We go there every chance we can and HIGHLY recommend it to everyone we talk to… They have a dock which we “live” on when we go, which you can snorkel off of or just lay on … in one of their chaise lounge chairs and catch some rays. There’s several BBQs and big rattan swinging chairs for two that are hung under 4 tiki huts and a tiki bar area (no bar on premises.) Sunset Cove also offers FREE use of their [...]canoes, which some resorts charge for. We have always enjoyed our stay and hope you find this secret place as beautiful and relaxing as we have!!!”

“The Sunset Cove is the sweeter of a pair of hotels, thanks to funky decor and oversized animal statues- dinosaurs, zebras and the like – that appear throughout the small but lush grounds. The rooms are situated in small cottages with tile floors and kitchenettes and eclectic dishware. Handpainted murals of Florida Keys creatures are featured on the bedroom and bathroom walls. An egret can often be seen following the staff and guests, adding to the charm.”
